It is our understanding that at each site there are an operational SPC and a number of spares.
Operational and spare units total nine units.
- Tautona three units
- Mponeng six units
TCL will provide an engineer from the UK to calibrate and test all nine SPU’s at the Tautona and Mponeng
mines.
Work scope will include:
- Compile test procedure
- Shipping test equipment to site
- For each FCU
- Connection of test equipment
- Injection of engine parameters to simulate engine running
- Calibration and adjustment as necessary
- Gas turbine running tests to check calibration
- Produce test report
